Our Story

A long time coming

Nicole and Eric met online not long after Nicole’s family relocated to Reno. Three weeks of conversation later, it was Nicole who asked Eric out.

Their first date nearly didn’t happen: a snowstorm made the drive to Reno impossible, so they rescheduled for the following week and met at Bennett’s in Roseville instead; where Nicole arrived fashionably late.

They flew to Maui to celebrate Nicole’s birthday. She told Eric not to propose on the day itself, so staying true to his playful personality, he proposed on April Fools’ instead. They hiked to the summit of Haleakalā before sunrise, and as the first light spread across the island, Eric got down on one knee.

This coming May we’re saying our vows on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, surrounded by the people we love most. We couldn’t be happier that you’re one of them.
